What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is sometimes described as Yogic Sleep.  It is a practice that is intended to to induce states of deep physical, mental and emotional relaxation.  It is normally practiced lying down (although other positions are possible) and care is taken that everyone is as comfortable and warm as possible before we start.

The practice is designed to guide your awareness through a specific form of meditation which will allow you to relax deeply through the many different layers of your being.
